What is Listeriosis?
Listeriosis is a serious infection usually caused by eating food contaminated with the bacterium Listeria monocytogenes.
The symptoms of listeriosis includefever, muscle aches, and sometimesnausea or diarrhea. If infection spreads to the nervous system, symptoms such as headache, stiff neck, confusion, loss of balance, orconvulsions can occur. But infectedpregnant women may experience only a mild, flu-like illness.
So like here are some things we can do to he safe shem. If you have any of these symptoms run to the nearest clinic or your doctor.
