Rebecca Sensed Something Was Wrong in Her Marriage | Black Love | Oprah ...

I respect how it dawned on him that, "the apology was just the beginning".

There is a big difference between saying sorry and actually being sorry, a few people know this. When you say sorry sometimes it is for the sake of shutting the other person up. While being sorry on the other hand is remorse and changed behavior.

Rebecca on Terry's Infidelity: "I Should Have Confronted Him" | Black Lo...

It is a beautiful Sunday morning and here I am again back to where I started, spring cleaning my head and my life.

You need to be intentional about being the best version of yourself and allow yourself the space and time to grow outside of others.

As I unpack the the last 10 years of my life it dawns on me that I have accumulated a lot of other things that do not belong to me. I can identify my things and have compartmentalized them and they fit. Im just not sure about other people's stuff, what do I do with their stuff?

One thing I know is that I ain't touching or sorting out anyones stuff at all. I'm going to leave it outside the gate for a couple of days and if the owners don't fetch them, I will not be responsible for what happens to it.All I know is it ain't mine and I don't have space nor will I be able to make space for it.

Hair care and Amogelang

Today I washed and conditioned my hair. I poured myself a glass of wine to unwind. Took a video and my daughter starts crying in the background because I put her down. She is so amazing, my little star.

Here we go 🍷

If you were reading my blog you would comment, like, or share but you are not. I'm offended I won't lie. You can engage Facebook, Twitter and Instagram but not my blog? Oh ok, cool black family.

I've decided to open up my blog a little more and introduce new articles and writers. A long time ago a diva once told me to post some videos. Ok let me see what I can do.

Mocha-Mama Wellness Healing Products

Ok so Hazel Phumzile Moukangwe in Mbombela, Mpumalanga Province recently started making and selling her own wellness products.
I am happy with the quality. She makes bath salts, soaps, moisturizer, lotion, bath bombs, scented candles and scented oils to mention but a few.

So these products actual started getting me to think, especially the Aura Salts, so I decided to do some reading which I also hope will help you. Remember all you have to do is cleanse once a week.

So what is Aura?

  1. the distinctive atmosphere or quality that seems to surround and be generated by a person, thing, or place.
'the ceremony retains an aura of mystery'
synonyms: atmosphere, air, quality, aspect, character, ambience, mood, spirit, feeling, feel, flavour, colouring, colour, complexion, climate, tone, overtone, undertone, tenor, impression, suggestion, emanation, vibrations, vibes, vibe
  2. (in spiritualism and some forms of alternative medicine) a supposed emanation surrounding the body of a living creature and regarded as an essential part of the individual.
'emotional, mental, and spiritual levels form an energy field around the body known as the aura'

MMMH! Who does not love or need some scented candles in their lives cummon? Eishkom has made it a necessity even, so why not invest in some?  Kill two birds with one stone, light up your life and make it smell good at the same time? Sign me up please!

Are you serious soaps too? Yes beauty bars as well. Her line has extended since she started making her own soaps at her home. I'm happy to report that she has added tumric bar soaps as well as activated charcoal beauty soap bars.

I am on of her customers and was very happy when the soap became soapy and frothy while I put it under running water. Then again I would not expect less from her.

What are the health benefits of Aura Salts/bath salts you might wonder just like I did. Well according to the article  ;https://getmaude.com/blogs/themaudern/the-benefits-of-bath-salts, which I have copied some parts of below. These are some of the benefits of bath salts:

An upgrade to your daily routine promotes relaxation and well-being.

Salt: the ocean’s waters are filled with it, and naturally so are our bodies. From antiseptic, detoxifying, cleansing, and a wealth of natural healing properties, salt has a wide array of benefits. The mineral works in foods to dry things out and preserve, but it can also help to hold moisture in the body. With hair products, salt aids in building texture. In body scrubs, it helps to exfoliate the skin, hydrate, and purify. And in warm water bath soaks, salt works to help us to relax the body and mind.

Submerging our bodies into a bath filled with warm water and salt is proven to be one of the best ways to restore ourselves after a long day. This health-promoting ritual soothes the muscles, hydrates the skin, detoxifies the body, and relieves internal swelling. The macro and trace minerals found in salts are necessary for our health and can actually be drawn into the bloodstream during a warm bath, which can help to balance out the entire body. The best versions have added benefits from natural sources, such as essential oils and earth-given minerals that can maximize results. This magic combination works to synergistically cure our internal ailments and nourish our bodies. Whether we’re seeking silkier skin, a better night’s sleep, or a little detoxification—bath salts can play such a beneficial role within our day-to-day routine.

Here are a few of our favorite reasons to start incorporating bath salts:

Moisturizes the skin
Soaking in a warm salt solution, even just once a week for 15-20 minutes, offers great benefits in terms of improving the skin barrier function, hydrating the skin, and decreasing inflammation. Studies even show that people suffering from skin issues, such as psoriasis or eczema, can improve their condition with regular salt bathing. The minerals found within a salty soak also work to promote more youthful, glowing skin from the inside out by purging impurities from the skin and balancing skin moisture levels.

Decreases stress
Spending time soaking in a warm bath with the right concentration of bath salts can help to increase overall circulation throughout the body, which in turn works to further relax our internal systems. Along with eliminating stress, bath salts help to soothe our muscular systems and aid in both mental and physical rejuvenation. A warm bath is perfect for helping us relax when we’re tense or anxious.

Helps insomnia
Research states that 6 out of 10 Americans suffer from insomnia. Nutritionally speaking, salt baths can play a role in encouraging better sleep patterns. Taking baths with magnesium-rich salts allows our bodies to absorb the mineral through the skin, which in turn assists our bodies in getting a good night’s sleep.

Offers vital healing properties
Studies show that regular salt soaks can work to promote our most optimum level of biological and cellular function. This ritual can also aid internal hydration while helping to replenish the body’s electrolytes. Soaking in a salt bath also helps to improve our overall immunity and balance our alkaline / acid levels. These salty soaks remove toxins from the bloodstream, with their intensive detoxification properties. Additional benefits include regulating blood sugar, improving cardiovascular health, and boosting circulatory and nerve function.

Soothes pain
Soaking in warm water with added bath salts can help to ease various types of pain by taking weight off of the joints and muscles. The act also helps our bodies to heal faster after injury or surgery, as salt offers exceptional natural healing properties. With chronic pain, nourishing salt baths have been proven highly effective in treating various issues including rheumatoid arthritis. The magnesium-rich salt can help to relieve muscle spasms and menstrual cramps as well.

A life in the times

Today I attended a disciplinary hearing and learned a lot. I am happy to learn everyday, the Chairperson and initiator of the proceedings are well seasoned attorneys.

It was a good environment and I am following the ratio of one mouth and two ears. You really do learn more if you keep quiet, it's also good to take direction from those in front of you. We are standing on shoulders of giants. Iron sharpens iron and so do we.

Maintain your cool my dear, I find myself reciting to myself. The red velvet cake and cream cheese was amazing oh my soul 🎂😋, a great time to be alive. Long live Jehovah long live! Amandla, awake.

I'm texting this standing in front of the heater getting lost in thoughts and word. Mmmh fireplace, I love fireplaces I feel like starting a fire is an exercise I'm interested in. Chopping wood sounds amazing.
