I have really come to realise that people only like the idea of you, but never seem to appreciate the reality of you. Out of sight out of mind.

First day at work.

Today is my first day at work. I am so excited to be part of this great opportunity to intern at this fine institution.

They say be careful what you wish for cause you just might get it, I wanted a job now here it is. Waking up in the morning and preparing for the imminent "work" is so surreal. I had to pinch myself several times this morning just to keep my eyes open.

I am counting my blessings every day,every day,every hour and every minute.

I am stationed at a National Key Point, I am blessed beyond measure.

That sad moment when I spent hours yesterday morning preparing an interesting and thought provoking piece for my blog and your enjoyment.
Alas! I get to my moms office to post it only to discover that it didn't save. Even after I clicked save like 10000000 times. It goes to show that some things get lost no matter how sure we are they are safe. Much like relationships and friendships. You always protect them and press save before going to sleep or carrying on without whatever you are doing just to lose them.
Crying over spilt milk will not however assist me or anyone who is interested in what I had to say yesterday.

PHDS=PULL HER DOWN SYNDROME

Kwaaaaaaa I am sure a lot of women can relate or even see themselves in this picture. You know who I am talking about, the woman who suffer from the chronic and luckily curable disease known as PHDS Pull Her Down SYNDROME. I can never for the life of me understand why women choose to be nasty to each other,pull each other down and participate in tearing each other down.



I am happy cause I have a cure to PHDS and that SDNCWYT. SDNCWYT is the acronym for SIT DOWN NO ONE CARES WHAT YOU THINK HO! Seriously word to the wise, if you aint got nothing nice to say about somebody please shut up?  If the girl is beautiful she is beautiful end of discussion. You aint got to be telling us about her skew teeth. She is beautiful with them.

If a woman is dressed nicely, no one cares what her hair looks like we are applauding what she is wearing NOT what her hair looks like or should look like. Just because you do not like her does not mean you have to sleep with her man just to spite her. Spite yourself because you are the one with the problem. The way I do not like people who gossip ne? If they gossip with you, sweety please know they are gossipping about you.

Call me crazy but I still have the banner WOMAN EMPOWERMENT neatly folded under my pillow,I sleep on it every night and wake up on it every morning. If you are against any woman as a woman, you are against me. I am every woman, I see myself and carry with me a lot of women so It hurts my feelings when one of my kind is against us. Unless you have actually seen her opening her legs and being penetrated, please refrain from calling her a tramp/ho/bitch. You do not know her story,its sad how it could be similar to yours.

Self love and self acceptance means you do not have to look at others but yourself. Your beauty and strenghth comes from within you,stop looking for it outside. There are things that those people you are looking to and envying on the outside are lacking in their inside.  Always remember that the one with the long hair hasn't got what the one with the straight teeth might have. The grass is always greener on the other side. The married man envies the bachelor because he is young,wild and free..Whilst the bachelor cries over the life of the married man because he is settled,secure and nurtured.

I remember a time when I would go to play in the morning and come back in the evening looking like this little girl on the picture. Oh my gosh I remember a time when street lights used to tell us it is time to get home.

I remember a time when staying indoors during school holidays was unheard of. lmao please do not tell me my cousind,friends and I convinced ourselves that the taps (water) closed with the schools at the same time?  Ok anyway that was my trip down memory lane lol!

INSUFFICIENT FUNDS

I heard somewhere the other day that a woman must look for or rather find a man who loves her more. This is true because women give too much of themselves without restriction while the other partner just takes it all without considering how spread thin she might be.

Think of yourself as an inheritance. Do you notice how many people who receive it feel like they are entitled to it and selfishly squander it? That person will keep withdrawing it until there is nothing left, because they do not in most times know the true value of their inheritance and did not have to work for it. This is true with most relationships. You find the one partner just withdrawing, without saving or putting anything back. Then one day they really need to make a withdrawal, when they get there they find INSUFFICIENT FUNDS!

Moral of the story? You are not entitled to having a loving, understanding,committed,caring,supporting,motivating partner, its called grace. In my native tongue we call it "MUSA". If you are lucky or blessed enough to stumble upon such an inheritance, value it and always deposit more than you want to withdraw, I can guarantee the interests are always worth it.So in essence love the one you are with, cherish them just like you are going through something I can guarantee they are going through the same if not more sometimes. 

We need to be there for each other it must never be single sided. When you take something,always remember you have an obligation to give. I wish people would understand that "giving"does not always mean money! You can give your TIME, ATTENTION and AFFECTION, that I have come realise is far more valuable than money. Some if not most people claim they love you but they never prove it with actions. Its time you demand them to act. Its true that what hurts us the most is the things we never say. I am telling you today to say them all, let the other person know how you feel.

A woman if made to feel loved,wanted,valued and protected can turn a pauper into a King. The same applies to a man, if a man feels loved,secure,wanted,valued and is fed he can turn a peasant into a Queen. All we need is to be in tune with ourselves. Being in tune with yourself means you treat someone with the same courtesy you treat yourself, it is second nature. If you do not like someone not answering your phone when you call, WHY do you not answer the other persons phone? If you like going out and spending time with your friends, WHY does it become a problem when the other person wants to do it?  If you do not like being ignored, WHY do you ignore the other person?  To support whatever I have said, further readind lead me to the first verse I learned at school in Grade 1. It's one of those principles that is embedded in and will never forget ; Matthew 7 v 12

Silence of the lambs.

So apparently I've been too quiet? Well BOOOOOOOO!
My friend Nolwazi literally drove to my house and hand delivered her modem just so I can upload. I am humbled that people love and appreciate what I do, so much so that they miss me in my absentia. So I have been here and there, doing this and that BUT now I am back.

I took this time out to learn and adjust to no longer being a student. Now I am no longer anyones responsibility but myself, so I have come to realise and that has to be the biggest adjustment I have had to make so excuse me! So anyway I am back now,this time for good.

With the growing numbers, I am dedicating my mind,heart and spirit into my blog and most importantly my brand. Keep tuned there is a lot of developments, not only in my life but in and around me tto I would like to share with you.

Wow what a beautiful surprise. I am sitting at 20133 views on my damn blog and I don't even know it. What I do know though is that God is good and he continues to lead my path.
